February News ...

Merrist Wood Unaffiliated 4/2/07

This turned out to be an extremely busy show! Parking was crammed and classes were overflowing! smurph jumped nicely in the 2'6 but had the last pole down in the first round. Tom had the same fence down in the 2'9. We scratched from the teams as it was running so late and put Bugz in the 2'6. He went like the wind and came 8th, against some racey ponies. Wouldn't recommend going to this show again, although the organisers were nice enough!!!!!!

Sorry- dad took photos, but hadn't mastered shutter speeds and they all came out black! More news and pics soon!!!!!!

Whizz

We recently made the difficult decision to rehome Whizz .

Update:

Whizz is learning to play! He has been on lots of walks and is getting on well with his new family in and around the house.

I hope that he continues to do well and starts to get back into agility and maybe even flyball very shortly. good luck Whizz.

Update 2

we heard this weekend that Whizz has made his new home permanent. we are very pleased for him and it sounds like he is getting on well. Kipper has become even more possesive as a single dog and is being mean to the labradors. She will hopefully soon get over single dog syndrome and be nice again.

10/11/02/07 Weekend

Robert pickles clinic today. I was in rather a mixed up group, and although Harmony went well, we didn't get a whole lot from it!

We have also been clearing the triangle of land over the field - good fun was had by all!

See pics...

Smarty also went for a walk with Bugz and was a super star. She look tiny compared to bugz!

21/2/07 weekend

Spring learns to trot! We managed two circles in the field and I actually was impressed by her trot! - walk is a little lumbering! She rides a lot bigger than she looks!

Smurph had a lesson and thought V jumps were very scary and leapt enormously over them. We are looking for a less severe bit to use. School starts now!! Oh well

Whizz makes friends!- Whizz is learning to be a proper collie in his new home and is even running back first with the ball!
