IBRC Area winter SJ Kingston Maurwood
Well we travelled a long way with a fairly good team, but unfortunately we had no luck whatsoever on our side!! The courses were fairly shocking, and without intervention would have been basically illeagal! Having said that Tom and Dug the thug jumped a super double clear, whilst Smurph nearly did, albeit for a style jump as no. 1 which he couldn't get to. Others fared less well, although nothing that a bit of luck wouldn't cure!!! We ended up equal 6th.
31/3/08 Well tom and I just got back from hols in the middle east - stayed in a fab hotel (in the end... as a mix up with our bookings! and the first resembled a building site where it rained harder inside the hotel than out!) Views were awesome. Slowly getting back into the swing of things here, but horses all a bit holidayed out! New page soon!
16/3/08 Well this weekend has been rather a sad state of affairs!!! It has rained and rained, I have had a nightmare flu virus and haven't slept for about 2 days- having massives migraines, hot and cold fevers and goodness knows what - normally I can battle on through anythingm, but this has wiped me out! Today I had coursebuilding which was OK apart from me being ill!! and freezing cold. Break up from school on weds and then off for a quick holiday, before coming back and getting stuck into the horses who due to weather and time, have again been neglected! Roll on the summer. Tom is globe trotting again and hasn't been seen in UK for longer than a day in the last two weeks!!!!!
