May News
Early May
Jenny has been flat out producing work for the summer festival of arts at school. This year we had a cultural theme with native America, Egypt and Africa on the cards. See the display opposite! Look the other way to see examples of the scultpures I created!

Pottery
As part of our school artsmark application, I got to go on a pottery course in order to learn how to use our kiln.
Spring's First Show
Spring travelled to Meon RC show on Sunday as Mattingly BE was cancelled. She was really good, going in the lorry for the first time and didn't mind having her main pulled or plaited. At the show she was a little more lively, and was doing really well in the young horse class - until she ran the judge over! It was me or her and I chose the latter. Unfortunately this moved us down from 4th to seventh, but we still got best member. In the coloured class, she had calmed down a lot! Unfortunately the judge liked hairy cobs best and we again came seventh with best member rossettes.
Festival of the Hunter Peterborough
Tom qualified for the festival on Frosty. He went really well, but was a tiny bit off the optimum time so missed out on the places! Harmony came 6th in the novice show hunter!
