November News

Well so far it has been a rather quiet month!! The horse box has gone in for repair and I am coursebuilding every weekend until December!! School is getting busy with xmas plays and Tom is coming and going between the London Office, Athens and Dublin. Hopefully we will have the lorry back soon and Tom will bring Dougal out for a couple of shows, and maybe even Buggie will have a small outing! Harmony is due for a vets appointment, smartie is 100% better and now has shoes on, despite being a yearling- but this seems to have solved the hole in the foot problem! She is now galloping around and jumping anything that lays in her way, clearing things by about 1ft! Spring is still going gently and is showing some good promise- with a lovely paces and natural outline. Smurph is still benefitting from his super top class lesson and we hope to get him out soo too! Anyway in the meantime - some lesson photos to have a look at! This weekend we are at Crofton and are planning to do our Christmas card photo.

Area 17 winter League Sparsholt

Well we built this on Friday and SParsholt is never a favourite of mine for building or jumping! this weekend proved no exception!!! Tom took dougal to do the 2'9 and 3'0. Unfortunately he had a senior moment in the 2'9 and jumped the wrong first fence! He did a lovely clear in the 3'0, but went a bit too fast in the jump off and paid the price with a run out and a pole. We then put him in the 3'3 and he did a fantastic clear - well done Tom! there were lots of people in the later classes and Meon didn't feature as highly in the placings as they did last year. never - mind - Clearly we prefered hoplands!
