Quob Show Jumping...
We took Smurph to his first show, and unfortunately were too late for the clear round, so had to do the first class. He was a star and did a double clear and managed to come fourth. Tom took Dougal and jumped the next two classes, also coming fourth. He rode beautifully and Lyn lessons have really paid off!
October News
Cross Country Schooling - Chase Farm
We took Smurphy cross country schooling this weekend, and managed to avoid the thunder and rain, to get an hours practice in! Smurph was a star- we took Buggie along to help, but he wasn't really needed! Smurph went over jumps, ditches, steps and coffins, despite having never seen any before!! He was a little green on some approaches to fences, but always took on the fence with a huge leap once he got there! Buggie had a little gallop around at the end and enjoyed speeding over the fences.
Harvest Festival:
A busy week at school - saw us celebrating harvest festival - the following displays took a while to create!! AND not so long to take down!
Smartie arrives!
Smartie arrived this weekend. She was dropped off by Mo from Badgers wood stud and soon settled in with all the other horses.
Smartie enjoys the Autumn sunshine with Spring and Bugz. She is very friendly to all!
